Cartoons exist since the early days of film and televisionTherefore, several different generations have already been influenced by their way of understanding the world. Cartoons are of very different types: educational, satirical, moralizing, fantastic, etc.
Each of us remembers with greater or lesser affection that animated series that we saw every morning and that we commented with our classmates at school, imitated and even disguised ourselves as those characters. It can be such a memory or attachment that there are many who decide to tattoo one of those animated characters that marked their lives.
From Homer, Bart or any of the countless characters of The Simpsons through the Super Saiyajins of the mythical Dragon Ball or those pre-teens of SuperCampeones who wanted to get the Soccer World Cup for Japan and of course, that rogue that dominated all sports that dominated all sports, the small but huge Earthquake Chicho.
As you can see, each generation has its header animation series, we could say that seeing the cartoons tattooed in each of us we could intuit their age, their way of seeing the world, their influences.
In my case, I was fascinated with the sleeves of the late 80's and early 90's, I'm passionate about tattoos that embody those mythical battles of the Knights of the Zodiac or Dragon Ball. That Marc Lenders hitting the ball with full power and shattering the waves in their training on the beach. Of course, others will have those animated scenes in their retinas that they never forget and that are marked on their skin as a sign of their respect for their drawings.
Tattoos with animated characters can also be a powerful weapon of seduction, the small and elegant Betty Boop, the antonomasia representation of the flapper girls, or those tatoos of Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Uncle Gilito, Goofy, Pluto or any of the Disney characters. The cinema has also supplied us with mythical “cartoons” like Roger and Jessica Rabbit; Buzz, Buddy and all his fellow Toy Story or the sympathetic Russell and Carl the boy scout of Up! And of course, the comic strips of the press written with characters like Garfield, Mafalda or Snoopy.
The animated characters are a very wide source that allows us to let our creativity fly and the world of tattooing finds in the animation a world with innumerable possibilities.
